balenciaga_sandals_carmen_electra_small.jpgA few days ago Shoebunny spotted Christina Ricci in some hot Balenciaga sandals. Today we have Carmen Electra in the same sandals, this time in black. The black sandals look even hotter, the only improvement would be to use red nail polish instead of the black one. Shoebunny doesn’t like that black polish, it’s a no-go.

Cristobal Balenciaga started the couture house in 1919. Balenciaga has recently become red-hot again, thanks to the futuristic avant-gardism of the “Le Dix” collection, helmed by creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere.

It was in the mid-Nineties that his love affair with Balenciaga began, as he was hired to design a licensed line for the Far East market. When Josephus Thimister left the house in 1997, Ghesquière was at last appointed creative director of the revered fashion house.

If you are interested in more Balenciaga shoes visit Shoebunny’s Balenciaga postings. You will find some ultra-hot gladiator sandals.
