Manolo Blahnik’s collection 2006 is absolutely modern and lets the foot appear optically very small. For this years collection he used material like satin, velvet and black leather. Another innovation in this year’s collection is the design of flat shoes. You will find flat sandals and mocassins in two color groups, namely white and black and in beige and brown. Manolo got inspired by the facades of churches from the 15th century and the main ideas of his recent collection are elegance, comfort and a natural design.

Manolo Blahnik has been asked once for which type of women should wear his shoes. His answer has just as much style and class as his shoes have. He said, “I designed millions of shoes and there are millions of different women on earth who can wear them. It’s the singularity of a woman that makes her beautiful.”
