This holiday season, Gucci announces the continuation of an international project to benefit UNICEF programs for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Gucci and UNICEF present Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Connelly as the global representative of the 2006 initiative. Jennifer Connelly has deep personal ties in Mozambique, because she spends a lot of time down there in order to take care of the well-being of the children of this regions.
Gucci has designed a unique collection of 15 products specifically to honor this initiative, from which Gucci will donate 20% of the sales from this holiday collection through December 31st, 2006 to UNICEF’s programs.
