This is style “10000010653″ from the current Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 2010 collection. The sandals feature 1 ½” platform sole, smooth leather twisted band detailing and leather bands that wrap around the ankle to secure it, leather insole branded with the Burberry Prorsum inscription, zip closure at back of heel, a lacquered sole and a 5 ¼” heel. They can be yours for $795.00.

Shoebunny spotted Carey Mulligan in Gianvito Rossi sandals.

Carey’s sandals feature black leather, leather trimmed black organza pattern that leads into a ribbon fastening ankle strap, ribbon threads through silver meta eyelets at the back of the ankle, ribbon fastening, and a 4.5 in. heel.

Gianvito Rossi also has created his carbon collection with some stunning sandals with carbon fiber soles. Awesome!

Just when we entered the new year with some stunning Rene Caovilla sandals here is another pair of Caovillas.

Since the 1970’s Rene Caovilla has worked with several designer including Valentino Garavani (for 25 years), Dior, and Chanel.

Caovilla’s creations are jewels for the feet so it’s not surprising that in 2007 a $125,872 Caovilla sandal made of ruby, sapphire and diamond was guarded by a live, poisonous cobra. What a marketig stunt.
