These are the Givenchy gladiator sandals Shoebunny already spotted on Gwyneth in London in a previous posting. While these shoes became the topic of hot discussions over the past weeks Shoebunny was one of the first - if not the first - to identify these shoes.

Similar in style to the famous gladiator boots from Christian Dior (aka the SATC shoes) these Givenchys are stunning.

These are the same metallic leather flat sandals Shoebunny already spotted on Heidi Klum (red sandals), Lindsay Lohan (red sandals), and Hilary Duff (gold sandals).

This is style “E7112″ of Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring/summer 2007 collection. The sandals feature double buckle ankle strap, T-strap design with buckle straps over foot, adjustable double ankle straps, leather lining, leather lined footbed, leather upper, and leather sole. The sandals are available at Zappos.com.

Shoebunny spotted Gwyneth Paltrow in Givenchy sandals in London yesterday.

Gwyneth’s shoes are from Givenchy’s spring/summer 2008 collection. It seems that Riccardo Tisci created this collection with warrior women in mind: knee-high gladiator sandals, gladiator stilettos (as seen on Gwyneth), flat gladiator sandals … lots of grommets, buckles, straps. These shoes are indeed for modern warrior women, and not for the faint of heart. You will make a statement in these shoes - like Gwyneth did.

These Givenchy shoes are somewhat similar to the famous “Extreme” sandals by Dior and some of the current Balenciaga creations.

For the spring/summer 2008 season Givenchy has designed some stunning gladiator sandals for the modern warrior lady: flat sandals, grommet sandals, knee-high ankle-wrap sandals. The collection reminds of a mix between Dior and Balenciaga, but not so pushy.
