Today Shoebunny introduces model Liya Kebede wearing a stunning pair of Helmut Lang sandals. Gorgeous shoes on a gorgeous woman.
Liya’s sandals are from the iconic Helmut Lang spring/summer 2003 collection and feature chain detail across the foot, barely-there black leather strap over the toes, and ankle strap. Shoebunny is also the proud owner of these sandals.

Petra is again wearing her black barely-there strappy sandals from Helmut Lang as featured in a previous posting.
Seems that these Helmut Lang strappies are one of Petra’s favorites besides her red Jimmy Choo sandals and her chain sandals from Manolo Blahnik.
Helmut Lang’s spring 2002 collection was originally scheduled to be shown on the catwalk in Paris. However, he did present it via the Internet, CD-ROM, lookbooks and showtapes:

These sandals feature barely-there strappy design, black leather, ankle ties, thong strap over the top of the foot, and a leather covered heel. What you can only guess from the photo is that the ankle ties are made from butter soft leather. Seldom has there been a shoe with such soft leather. Shoebunny must know, she has the same sandals in black.
