Shoebunny spotted Jessica Simpson in Azzedine Alaia platform stiletto sandals.

Jessica Simpson wears sky-high Azzedine Alaia platform sandals in natural beige, with cute little buckled black patent leather ankle straps, classic black patent leather bows on front part and on rear part and a stiletto heel. This gorgeous heel makes a statement adding precious inches to a woman’s leg, that will definitely make heads turn. A shoe that deserves a special place in the design hall of fame.

Shoebunny has spotted more fantastic Azzedine Alaia shoes and can only recommend to have a look at the entire and ever growing Azzedine Alaia collection. Azzedine Alaia really designs shoes as a perfectionist about cut, drape, and construction.

And here’s the story of the designer, Azzedine Alaia was born in Tunisia in the year 1940. Alaia discovered at early age his passion for art and design and decided to go all the way to live his creativity. He even lied about his age to get into the local Ecole des Beaux-Arts to study sculpture. One day he noticed an advertisement for a vacancy at a dressmaker’s and that’s where he started making copies of couture dresses for neighbors. After this experience he went to Paris to work for Christian Dior where he stayed about five years. He moved to Guy Laroche, where he learned for two seasons his craft. In 1960, the “Blegiers” family noticed Alaia and kept him for the next five years as the dressmaker to the Countess and her friends. It was at that time that Alaia came in touch with the glamorous high society of Paris, where he gathered his first clientèle, following him when he started out on his own becoming successful worldwide. In 2000, Alaia joined forces with the Prada group. Today Alaïa lives in Paris, where he still designs fantastic shoes and fashion creations.

Shoebunny spotted Jennifer Lopez in XTC glass wedges.

J-Lo wears once more her favorite transparent XTC wedge called “Glass”.

Shoebunny spotted Kim Kardashian in Jimmy Choo sandals.

Yesterday Shoebunny’s dear reader Suzy asked about Kim’s shoes. Luckily Shoebunny has already identified them and was going to present them in an upcoming posting. So here they are today.

This style is called “Hanoi” and has already been spotted by Shoebunny on Ali Larter at this year’s Oscar celebration.

The metallic leather “Hanoi” sandals feature a crystal and chain accessory, soft suede upper, open toe, ornate metal and rhinestone T-strap, buckle adjustable ankle strap, lightly padded leather insole, leather sole, and a 4” covered stacked heel.

Shoebunny spotted Eva Green in ankle-wrap platform sandals from Christian Dior at John Galliano’s Haute Couture Automne/Hiver 2008 collection presentation at the Versailles Castle.

Eva’s sandals perfectly matches her pink dress. Looks as if Eva just jumped off the runway.

This silver patent platforms sandals come from the recent Burberry spring/summer 2007 accessory collection, featuring patent leather silver sling back with adjustable strap, tonal stitching around the shoe with a leather insole and a 2cm platform sole with a 11cm heel, style number: 22026940.

Giselle Blondet looks nice in her dress wearing these futuristic but still very classic sandals, that do not only look very comfortable due to the heel form, but seem to be a perfect companion for a long night on the red carpets of the world.
