Today Shoebunny is glad to present you these stunning sandals on the feet of Becki Newton. These Marc Jacobs sandals are similar in style to the Yves Saint Laurent metal bar sandals worn by Emmy Rossum.

Some fashion wisdom from Victoria:
“If you haven’t got it. Fake it! Too short? Wear big high heels, but do practice walking!”
“Some wedges are great but you can look like your feet are encased in cement.”
“I dress sexily – but not in an obvious way. Sexy in a virginal way.”
Victoria is always there for some extravagant footwear: see her in heel-less boots by Antonio Berardi, in spiky sandals from Giles Deacon, in ultra-high platform sandals from Giambattista Valli, and in platform sandals from Lanvin.

Shoebunny spotted Victoria Beckham in Marc Jacobs sandals.
These sandals are from the Marc Jacobs resort collection. Once in a while we are surprised by some extravagant shoe design. This is such a creation. Similar in style to Emmy Rossum’s Yves Saint Laurent sandals these Marc Jacobs sandals feature a unique sole: two heart shaped sole pieces connected by a bar. See the last photo below for a detailed shot of this unique sole.

Victoria is known for wearing extravagant shoes with high(est) heels. See her in spiky gladiator heels from Giles Deacon, in Giambattista Valli sandals, and in Lanvin platform sandals. More of Victoria’s shoe collection will be presented in upcoming posts.

Marc Jacobs was born in New York (upper West Side). His grandmother was a vey fashion orientated women, she raised him and influenced him. After high school Marc Jacobs reached a fashion degree at Parsons School of Design. In 1984 he presented his graduation collection which was full bright colored knits. Due to this successful collection he came into contact with Robert Duffy who is still a business partner of Jacobs today. These two presented the Marc Jacobs collection 1986 and won the CFDA award in 1987. And only two years later Marc Jacobs became head designer at Perry Ellis. His experience and his tremendous creativity made him launch his “grunge” collection, which brought him fame and fortune. “It’s important for me that my clothes are not just an exercise in runway high jinks“. (Marc Jacobs)
It was Louis Vuitton who called him in 1997 and appointed him artistic director of Vuitton. He enhanced the style and the flair of the LV handbags and shoes. When he collaborated with Takashi Murakami (artist) who changed the color and the design of the luggage company, he prooved that he is more than just a great designer. He knows what women desire to wear and he dares to create desires for them. Marc Jacobs launched his own company in 2001. He created his first perfume in 2001 and in 2003 he presented his homeware collection. The red boots Kate Moss is wearing are form the 2004 collection, so they are among his first creations. Marc Jacobs is a young designer who is full of inspiration and full of admiration for great fashion. See another great pair of Marc Jacobs shoes.
