Shoebunny spotted Natalie Portman in black Roger Vivier sandals at the premiere of her new movie “V for Vendetta” in Berlin, Germany. Also see Natalie in Jimmy Choo sandals at the premiere of “V for Vendetta” in New York.

Roger Vivier is credited with the invention of stilettos, thigh-high boots and the famous silver-buckled square-toed Pilgrim shoe that Catherine Deneuve wore in Belle de Jour. He is described as the “Fragonard of the shoe” and his shoes as “the Faberge of footwear”. Queen Elizabeth II wore a pair of Vivier shoes to her coronation. Other fans include Ava Gardner, Brigitte Bardot, The Beatles, Maria Callas, and Nicole Kidman.

After the death of Roger Vivier in 1998, the brand was aquired by Diego Della Valle - the man behind the Tod’s, Hogan, and Fay brands - in 2000. Now, under the direction of designer Bruno Frisoni and “Ambassadress” Inès de la Fressange the brand has been relaunched successfully.

Beautiful 24 year old Natalie has been awarded Female Star of the Year 2006 at the Press Room Paris Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, Nevada. Natalie Portman got a big hug of a friendly chimpanzee at the ShoWest Award Show 2006 and both look great. What a natural laugh she can give, such beautiful smiles are rare. Natalie dressed in her own style, very individual, not in the classical old fashioned and mostly expected way, she remains true to herself and that’s why we love her.

But after the experiences she had to make due to her shaved head, she will be trained for the future. “I was really excited to get to shave my head — it’s something I’d wanted to do for a while and now I had a good excuse,” Portman to reporters at the Berlin International Film Festival. “It was nice to shed that level of vanity for a girl…. I wasn’t used to being looked at so much … Walking down the street, I can usually blend in, and people really stare at you when you’re a girl with a shaved head.”
