Shoebunny spotted Monet Mazur in Jimmy Choo sandals at the 79th Academy Awards.

This style is called “Great” … but does this shoe truly lives up to its name :ponder_tb:

Like many other pairs at this year’s Academy Awards these sandals are classic can’t-do-anything-wrong shoes (someone meaner than Shoebunny would call them boring). In the same category are Jimmy Choo “Macy” sandals. However, Shoebunny also spotted some of the more interesting Jimmy Choo’s at the Academy Awards, including Sarah Michelle Gellar in strappy snake skin sandals and Ali Larter in silver T-strap sandals.

In the end, Shoebunny wants to see stunning shoes … shoes that will define an era … the ultimate shoes.

The Jimmy Choo “Great” sandals have also been worn by Jessica Biel.

Shoebunny spotted Rachel Weisz in ” Macy” silk satin platform Jimmy Choo sandals at the 79th Academy Awards.

Another famous red carpet shoe, the “Macy” silk satin open toe platform sandal has wide cross over straps on toe with ruched casing, a thin diamante buckle fastening ankle strap, and a 105mm heel.

The “Macy” sandals are available for $585.00 at the Jimmy Choo Online Boutique (in black color, but almost sold out). The “Macy” sandal is also available in metallic canvas (gold or silver) for $590.00.

Shoebunny spotted Petra Nemcova in gold ankle wrap Jimmy Choo sandals at the 79th Academy Awards.

It almost seemed that THE classic red carpet shoe was missing at this year’s Academy Awards, but Petra came to rescue.

Similar Jimmy Choo sandals have already been spotted on the feet of Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Bullock, Diane Lane, Diane Kruger, LeAnn Rimes, Andie MacDowell, and again LeAnn Rimes.
