Shoebunny spotted Jennifer Connelly in Balmain sandals.
These are the same Balmain sandals Shoebunny already spotted on Molly Sims a month ago. These are currently also our dear readers’ most favorite shoes (see the voting in the left sidebar “Highest Rated Shoes Overall”). These Balmain sandals and black nail polish are one marvelous combination. Jennifer, you look awesome.
And if you’re like Shoebunny and can’t get enough of these stunning sandals then have a look here. Be patient, this photo takes some time to download … but what a look.
The name Pierre Balmain stands for elegance. Balmain’s customers include royalty and film stars among them Marlene Dietrich, Brigitte Bardot, and Katherine Hepburn.
Shoebunny spotted Madonna in Dolce & Gabbana sandals.
Our dear fellow shoe lover Risha sent us an email with the subject “Please help!!!! (Mystery shoes)”:
“I was wondering whether you can help me identify a pair of shoes that I have seen Madonna wear on several occassions. I have been searching for these shoes for a while now and I have not been able to find them.
Please help!”
Risha’s dream shoes are from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2005 ready-to-wear collection. Looking at the below pictures one can understand why Risha is looking for these shoes. They are absolutely terrific. A cage made from nine rhinestone straps and a ring wraps around the toes. What a unique and stunning design. While Shoebunny had these shoes in her archives for a long time (waiting for some upcoming post) it was our dear Risha pulling the trigger. Many Thanks, Risha.
While Dolce & Gabbana have been known for their extravagant and stunning designs these shoes are among Shoebunny’s favorites: see Carmen Electra in strappy sandals, Gisele Bundchen in gladiator sandals, the lovely Kylie Minogue in clear wedges, and Rosario Dawson in knee-high gladiator sandals.
Shoebunny spotted Kelly Brook in Jimmy Choo sandals.
Kelly is wearing … not much … besides her bikini and the stunning Jimmy Choo “Bamby” sandals from the Vintage Collection. This is what the Jimmy Choo catalog writes about these shoes: The delicate “Bamby”, glittering with Swarovski crystals, proved itself to have both the substance and glamour to stand out on the red carpet. The Spring/Summer 1999 strappy sandal was picked up by celebrities and ignited Hollywood’s ongoing love affair with Jimmy Choo.
Shoes from the Vintage Collection can be identified by the gold star on the inside soles. In addition, all vintage shoes are packaged in a unique deep purple shoe box.
Shoebunny spotted Lucy Liu in Manolo Blahnik slides on September 25 in Beverly Hills to celebrate Manolo Blahnik’s induction to the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style.
This style is called “Umit” and is from Manolo’s 2008 collection. A stunning rhinestone sandal … just perfect for the red carpet.
Here some of the wisdom of Manolo: “Oh yes, you can look at my stilettos and go, ‘No. This is too much. But some people cannot live without that style. And then some people cannot even think to do wear those. And I love flats. Are you kidding? I cannot live without flats. I cannot do a collection without flats. So many people, they say, ‘Flats, flats, flats.’ My sister, my mother, they cannot live without flats!”
“This is my philosophy. It’s like funny, it’s stupid, but maybe it makes sense. I think women should buy one pair, just one pair, and that will last a long time. Invest in that one pair. This is the one thing people can do.”
