ysl_yves_saint_laurent_gold_heels_salma_hayek_s.jpgShoebunny spotted Salma Hayek in Yves Saint Laurent heels.

Salma, known from movies like “From Dusk Till Dawn”, “Desperado”, and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico”, looks stunning in her red dress and YSL shoes. Similar styles have been worn by Mischa Barton and Jessica Alba (and here again).

Shoebunny has spotted Salma in more stunning shoes: Manolo Blahnik sandals, Hermes boots, black leather sandals from Manolo Blahnik, and Yves Saint Laurent sandals.

These are the same strappy sandals Shoebunny already spotted on Salma in a previous posting.

These are the famous “Kayapo” sandals which have also been worn by Calista Flockhart and Carmen Electra. Similar styles have been worn by Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Kate Capshaw, Carine Roitfeld, Karolina Kurkova, Esther Canadas, and Caroline Ribeiro.

Simple, classic sandals … this is Shoebunny’s preferred style.

“Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity.” Plato

Salma again in Manolo Blahnik’s “Kayapo” sandals. This style has also been worn Calista Flockhart, Carmen Electra, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Carine Roitfeld, Esther Canadas, Caroline Ribeiro, Kate Capshaw, and Karolina Kurkova.

While the Maestro usually designs women’s footwear Mr. Blahnik will release a six-piece collection of men’s shoes in 2008: “It’s not a big collection. There are some simple sandals in beautiful materials, and a few classics - with a twist. I thought it was time to bring back some colour into the male wardrobe.”

Manolo Blahnik Sandals - Salma Hayek

manolo_blahnik_strappy_black_sandals_salma_hayek_s.jpgShoebunny spotted Salma Hayel in Manolo Blahnik sandals.

Simple, stunning, seductive … this is the famous “Kayapo” style from Manolo Blahnik, and one of Shoebunny’s all-time favorites :clap_tb:

Shoebunny already spotted these stunning sandals on Salma Hayek, Calista Flockhart, and Carmen Electra.

While Salma’s sandals feature patent leather the “Kayapo” sandals are also available in satin finish as worn by Heidi Klum, in snakeskin finish as worn by Naomi Campbell, in black crepe with embroidered in muted pastels, and in grommet style as worn by Shoebunny, Carine Roitfeld, Esther Canadas, Caroline Ribeiro, Kate Capshaw, and Karolina Kurkova.

This is a classic style which is hard to get nowadays. Except from the black embroidered crepe style, which you can still find at some boutiques, all other styles are pretty hard to find.

Hermes Boots - Salma Hayek

hermes_boots_salma_hayek_small.jpgShoebunny spotted Salma Hayek in Hermes boots.

Salma Hayek is a very exclusive celeb, always extravagant and wild. Shoebunny spotted Salma Hayek in Yves Saint Laurent sandals. She is just so feminine and wild, just as a wild horse. The horse definitely suits her and of course those black smooth Hermes boots are just perfect for the dark haired lady going wild.

Hermes is a French company founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermes (1801-1878) to make leather goods. The height of luxury with a nod to the house’s equestrian heritage—The accessories line has structured bags, belts with chunky hardware, signature printed silk scarves, and riding boots. Refined beauties who like their accessories as classy as they consider themselves to be—Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore, Elle McPherson, Elizabeth Hurley, Madonna and of course Salma Hayek.

Did you know that Christian Lacroix worked at an assistant at Hermes, know he is known as the “man with the magic paintbrush”, see how exciting Cameron Diaz is looking in Christian Lacroix sandals.

YSL Yves Saint Laurent Sandals - Salma Hayek

yves-saint-laurent-sandals-salma-hayek-small.jpgSalma Hayek in YSL Yves Saint Laurent sandals.

This is just another great pair of Yves Saint Laurent sandals, coming from YSL dramatic designs.

Unique, expressive and incomparably, just something for women like Salma Hayek who can make a statement. The black YSL monogram is not too much as it is held by transparent straps, just like invisibly held on the foot.

And Shoebunny found another great pair of YSL sandals, on Diane Kruger: Yves Saint Laurent red wedge sandals made of red satin and entirely covered in red sequins.

Truly YSL makes fashion in the good old glamorous style, for real divas and for everyone eyes to see and adore. Let your feet do the talking in these fab YSL monogram sandals, that will always be in style and timeless, just like YSL fashion stayed trough the years. And there is a great fashion history behind this YSL label.

Yves Saint Laurent was born in 1936 and grew up in Algeria. When he became 17 he went to the fashion metropolis Paris, where he showed his drawings to the director of Vogue, who liked his fashion and published his fashion. The director of Vogue introduced young Yves to Christian Dior, for whom he started to work for Dior until his death in 1957. From 1962 till 2002 he created a fashion empire and brought great creativity to the world of glamour. He innovated the fashion world with his ideas and creations, like the legendary smoking suit, the reefer jacket (1962), the sheer blouse (1966), and the jumpsuit (1968), as well as ready-to-wear culture as a whole.

In 2002 YSL retired from his work as designer, he was 65-year-old. His decision of retirement was based on a disgust with the commercialisation of the fashion world : “I have nothing in common with this new world of fashion, which has been reduced to mere window-dressing”. (YSL)

These PVC strappy YSL monogram sandals Salma Hayak is wearing reflect the designers view of fashion. They are more than just street ware and window fashion, they truly have a greater spirit. That’s what fashion should be, full of power and spirit, Salma Hayak, you look very feminine and elegant, just great.
