Maggie is wearing some classic silver slides from Jimmy Choo, very similar to the “Smooth” and “Juliet” styles spotted yesterday and in previous postings. Simple, elegant slides and red nail polish … what a gorgeous combination.

Shoebunny spotted Lucy Liu in Manolo Blahnik slides on September 25 in Beverly Hills to celebrate Manolo Blahnik’s induction to the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style.

This style is called “Umit” and is from Manolo’s 2008 collection. A stunning rhinestone sandal … just perfect for the red carpet.

Here some of the wisdom of Manolo:
“Oh yes, you can look at my stilettos and go, ‘No. This is too much. But some people cannot live without that style. And then some people cannot even think to do wear those. And I love flats. Are you kidding? I cannot live without flats. I cannot do a collection without flats. So many people, they say, ‘Flats, flats, flats.’ My sister, my mother, they cannot live without flats!”
