And this is Lanvin’s idea of a great platform heel. This platform sandal features wooden platform sole, brown upper leather, T-strap merging with ankle-strap and unique wooden Lanvin cone heel.

“The oldest French couture house, founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, is today a reference for the Parisian industry of luxury, from fashion to perfumes and accessories. Recognized for her talent, Jeanne Lanvin created a style, a global universe of elegance and refinement. An aficionado of culture, she surrounded herself with artists and young talents from numerous domains, providing an outstanding cultural heritage. Today, faithful to her philosophy, Lanvin perpetuates this artistic tradition, particularly through advertising campaigns.” (Lanvin.com)
And Shoebunny has spotted lovely Kate Bosworth in black satin and crystal rhinestone Lanvin pumps at the premier of “Superman returns”. Another fantastic Lanvin creation that will make you fall in love with Lanvin.

Cristobal Balenciaga was a great designer and real craftsman. He dedicated his entire life to perfection and the search of the simple essence of style. His chief aim has been simplicity. The richness of Balenciaga’s work results from the influence of his Spanish origins. He liked working with silks and satin, and made his clothes as feminine as possible. Shoebunny spotted Sienna Miller in Miu Miu ankle-tie ballerina slippers.
These are the famous blue ballerina slippers from the Miu Miu spring/summer 2006 collection. When Sienna wore these shoes ove a year ago Shoebunny was the very first on the net to identify the shoes. The shoes were all the craze a year ago. Several of Shoebunny’s dear readers wanted Sienna’s shoes. Only Shoebunny was able to identify Sienna’s ballerina slippers, so it was no wonder that readers sent Shoebunny feedback like the following: “Thank you so much; you’ve made my day!!!”

The shoes are made from linen and feature adjustable ankle strap with buckle and a flat heel. Bergdorf Goodman (and just discovered: Net-A-Porter) has the 2007 model for US$ 295.00 in black linen.
