The sandals are from the current Chloe spring/summer 2009 collection. Shoebunny spotted Angeline Tournier in Angeline Tournier cartoon wedges.

Today it’s a pleasure for Shoebunny to feature shoe designer Angeline Tournier in one of her own creations: the “Beano Cartoon Wedges”.

Angeline’s Cartoon Wedges feature blue patent leather, spiky silver studs, silver leather lining, padded insole, leather covered cork wedge, leather sole, and a 6cm heel. The wedges are also available in red, silver, and patent black.

This is an exclusive limited edition Dennis the Menace cartoon wedge. Angeline designed the Dennis the Menace cartoon wedge to celebrate The Beano’s 70th anniversary. The shoes are displayed in the London Cartoon Museum.

If you want to own a pair of these unique wedges you can order them online at the Angeline Tournier site for approximately $281,00 (Angeline is based in London, but ships worldwide).

An interesting fact about Angeline is that she worked as a lawyer in London but then decided to become a shoe designer.

Shoebunny spotted Sarah Michelle Gellar in Christian Louboutin sandals a few days ago in Hawaii.

This style is called “Marilou Zeppa” and features woven leather straps on top of foot, circular buckle detailing at arch and a wrap around ankle strap with a side buckle fastening, cork wedge, open toe, and the signature red sole. The shoes are available for $870.00.

These Louboutin wedge sandals are great casual shoes for strolling around in the hotel, but not for the beach. Louboutin fans seem to wear their - heeled - dream shoes anywhere regardless of the conditions.

This is what Sarah Michelle is saying about her shoe passion:
