Shoebunny’s dear reader Carolyn sent the following mail today:
shoebunny- love what u do!!! now what are nicole richie wearing - drop dead mules w/ a gorgeous sexy ysl tribute heel!!!! she wore them on aug. 10, with an adorable white slip dress-top. pleeeeease cn u find out??!!?!

While Nicole’s shoes are not mules, the heel shape and white dress seem to indicate that these are Carolyn’s dream shoes.

Shoebunny spotted Rihanna in flat studded knee-high boots from Christian Louboutin.

Rihanna’s boots are from Louboutin’s fall/winter 2007/2008 collection. Besides these flat boots there is also a high heel version available, as well as high heel booties. Seems Mr. Louboutin liked the studded style so much that he also created a studded version of his Mary-Janes.

Shoebunny spotted Rihanna in black platform leather boots from DSquared2.

The boots are from the Dsquared2 fall/winter 2007/2008 collection.

What an outrageous and extraordinary heel full of powerful seduction. Some designers really know how to catch the attention by adding a non-standard heel to some standard shoes (although these boots are not so non-standard, even without the heel).

This season brought us some unique heel sculptures from numerous designers including Louis Vuitton, Azzedine Alaia, Prada, Christian Dior, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Fendi, Celine, Giorgio Armani, Emilio Pucci, Donna Karan, and Paule Ka.

Shoebunny spotted Heidi Klum in flat contrast stitch gladiator sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti.

This is style “E7112″ of Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring/summer 2007 collection. The sandals feature leather upper, multi strap buckle details, adjustable double ankle straps, leather lining, leather lined footbed, and leather sole.

Zanotti is well known for his stunning flat sandals. While many designers and shoe addicts seem to focus on high heels only Zanotti successfully demonstrates that heel height alone does not imply the seduction factor of a shoe. His flat creations are gorgeous. No wonder Shoebunny also owns a pair of flat Zanottis.

Shoebunny already spotted Heidi in another pair of warrior shoes: the white studded gladiator sandals from Balenciaga.

Shoebunny spotted the lovely Kylie Minogue in white Gucci sandals.

These are the “Portofino” sandals Shoebunny already spotted on Kylie in a previous posting, featuring gold leather with bamboo detail with a 4 1/4″ high heel. The same Gucci sandal are as well available in the color cocoa.

Gucci has great shoe collections. Very feminine and modern and with a touch of seduction, Gucci presents patent leather platform heels, strappy stiletto sandals and romantic Mary-Jane’s with platform sole.
